Forestier

Forestier was established in 1992 in Paris, France, and was inspired by Bernard Forestier’s passion for French-style gardens: their proportionality, overall balance and elegant combination of alternating straight lines and curves. This creative spirit saw the botanical arts being introduced to the home in the form of lightweight and well-structured woven metal wire designs which combined humour and poetry. Forestier has made its name over time by providing a fragile balance between nature and design. Their goal has been to invest in a brighter, design-driven future while retaining creativity, poetry and nature at its core. Between 2002 and 2011 shapes became increasingly sophisticated with a growing focus on lighting and colour but without losing that distinctive quality conveyed by a craftsman’s skill. Now Forestier has a team of 12 international designers and over 20 years of experience in the lighting sector. Adapting to economic changes and constant reinvention has become a way of life for the company. They draw strength from the passion and experience of powerful minds and the proven know-how of professionals in every field.
